Speaking just for myself... I have bigger, more immediate and more important personal problems in my life. El Chapo, Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, the Kardashian girls and all the other celebertards mean little to me. The status of my former bunkes who’re still dying a day at a time through life bids mean a lot more to me. Sorry, but this is how at least one former prisoner who did >5 yrs inside the fence sees things...

I agree, Mexico will (and should) keep him.

I have no idea who he is , but if he is Mexican I guess he should stay in Mexico.

I have not followed all of yesterday's developments...however, I can easily see Mexico asserting primary jurisdiction and I do not see the US engaging in a black-bag operation to spirit him out of the country.

With the various allegations of corruption in Mexico, I would be more inclined to believe that some manner of 'disappearing' will take place courtesy of a rival who has filled the gap in his 'absence,' hopefully with no harm coming to whoever is escorting him at the time.

Combs-

The post is in an area of the Forums called "Break Time". Everyone needs a "break" now and then.

I agree!

Since he is wanted in the US I wondered if Mexico and the US will work out a deal to house him in the federal Supermax prison in CO. That prison has never had a break out and there hasn't been an in-prison murder there in many years.

ehhh...if he made it to a facility under US care and control, I would be more inclined to see him housed at Gitmo since due process seems not to be able to cross the water to get there...
