Thank you for the help, sadly the courts don't deal in logic. My ex got caught out on the lies he told but in the end they didn't see it for what he was. My man got four years and I got six month suspended sentence and tag for28 days.

I was told give evidence and go to prison, in the end my man said no to me doing this and took the four years instead. H said he wasn't willing to risk me being put away. I feel gutted and in a way I felt bullied by the court into not giving evidence. They didn't give any time off for the 8 months he served waiting for trial. The judge said she didn't want to hear any more tales from my ex.

Hopefully he will get cat d again but I'm not sure how it works and he won't talk about it.

Wow thats terrible, I am so sorry to hear about your guy. I am not sure how the catorgeories work but I hope he does get Cat D
