Default Don't quite know what to do...

My husband in Federal in Florida is due to be released in 2 months. But, he is a foreigner and was recently visited by immigration. The employee told him that Immigration does not consider his crime reason for deportation. But, and here is the problem. Someone at the prison bureau accessed my hubby's custody classification file and modified it. He nows appears to be a violent, once escaped, ex convict, and naturally, this is the file that immigration received. Obviously someone is trying to mess up his release. I don't quite know how to fix this, partly because the person who made the changes must be high up in the prison ranks. Has anyone seen this happen before, and how do we go about trying to fix it ? I called his consulate...
Thanks for your help

Hhmm. This is very odd. You can request the file yourself because it is public record. Is it possible it was another perosn with the same name- this happens quite often. You should be able to prove what is false, but first you have to see what the record actually says.
