Default Federal Probation transfer: no one knows who I'm supposed to check-in with

So I will try and explain this as best I can. I served 6 months at Lexington Camp and was sentenced to 2 years and 200 hours of community service.
I completed my community service quickly, communicated regularly with my PO via text or phone, was transferred to another PO and kept up the good communication with her. I was doing well enough that my PO said she would put in for early termination at my 1 yr point, when we got to that point I was planning a move to Florida with my family (from Indiana) so the government rejected my early term, didn't even go to the judge level, bc of my amount of restitution. I was granted a transfer to Florida from my federal judge and completed the transfer intake stuff in Florida with a NOT nice PO who literally visited me 3 times in 3 days....I was not looking forward to completing my finally year with this PO. Anyway, I saw on Pacer that my transfer was complete, but after the original intake I literally haven't heard anything....it says online that Florida can cancel my sentence, and that they need to send to the court IF they accept mg transfer. I have continued to make my restitution payments, but have not checked in, in almost 3 months bc no one knows who I'm supposed to communicate with....
So my question, have I fallen thru the cracks somewhere in the transfer
Is it worth me asking the judge myself for early term?

I wouldn't dare ask a judge yourself, do it through a lawyer. Best thing I can tell you is that you're probably best off speaking to the older probation officer before the transfer. He or she can help you out and coordinate with the new one. But one is certain and that is that you need to check in immediately before you end up with a warrant for your arrest.

You could contact the USAO, but I would do that through a lawyer as well.

Oh no, I don't think I'm in any danger of being arrested, I have all my text messages from both the Indiana and the Florida PO. Both say it's the others job to have me report.

I agree, if you don't report, even when there is no way to do so, or you aren't advised how or where/when to appear, it can be 100% your fault/problem. I agree that you should retain a lawyer to deal with the issue in court. US Probation is a branch of the courts, not the Department of Justice.

Having your transfer approved is a good thing. One recent thread was by a guy who applied to have his supervised release transferred from the Southern District of California to the Northern District because of a job and residence there. The last post was about a warning from a PO that if he didn't quit his job and move back to his original PO's area immediately, he would be violated and sent back to prison. POs are never wrong, so any problems are always the fault of the person being supervised.

This is key and this is why you need to get in contact with the last PO you had immediately. First thing Monday morning, don't wait. Explain the situation and get them on the case. You may think you're in no danger of being arrested but you have no reason to think that is true.

Do not play around with your freedom. Take care of your business. There are things in this world which you cannot control so it is your obligation to control those things which you can.

I think you should go sign in to the Probation Office closest to you the first of the week. Who was the person who came 3 times? That's weird. Take a picture of the sign up sheet for documentation. It could be that your status is open and doesn't require reporting. If not, there are all kinds of rules. FL is a tight jurisdiction because there are so many difficult people to manage. So, you need a little clarity from them.

Perfect example of when the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing!

Gotta love the inefficiencies of our fed gov!! Not!

What about mail in probation checks? I don't know if Federal even does this or not. OP hasn't responded in a bit I hope they got this straight.

I was eventually able to file my monthly federal probation reports online, My in-person contacts with my PO continued to be reduced, but they never disappeared completely.

None of my Florida people have been allowed to file online. Some have to mail, or fax or text or call. Crazy, I know. But since my experience is anecdotal, maybe it's possible there.

I started out having to file my monthly reports either in-person or by mail. Like most of my restrictions, the report procedure was made much easier towards the end of my 3 years of SR.
