Do I need to get a free world attorney or is there a way we can file with TDCJ?

Most courts have pretty good self help for family law matters. You file in your county court, but you can pull all of the relevant documents online, save for any affidavits that may need to be written by individuals. If you meet the requirements for indigence, your local legal aid office can help with everything and maybe even represent you.

I'm looking for the common law marriage affidavit so I can see my common law husband. I had called and I was told didn't need anything but now it's come up he could only put me down as friend without paperwork

5. Pursuant to the Rules and Policies governing the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division, I am requesting contact visiting privileges, the same as any other Wife might be entitled to with legal (common-law) marriage.






Make sure this is what the unit wants before submitting it. Some units require different proof but if they tell you to write up something, this should work. Good luck!

Thank you. I did get in touch with unit, they said inmate had to request the paperwork and after he filled out what needed to be them send to me to fill out what I needed and send back to inmate

A Texas form generally won't work in Nebraska. Further, I don't believe Nebraska has common law marriage

Default Affidavit for informal marriage

My hubby is in Dominguez and I was told I could find the form online and I am confused as to what to send!!! Any help would be appreciated. I am looking for the form to send in.

Can someone please let me know where I can get the forms to submit for the common Law marriage? I have been looking for 2 days and can’t find them. Please help!!

We are really common law married I go by his last name even went to all his court dates and appeared as spouse on court records so hopefully this works, we been together 2 years and have not got married because he didn’t have an iD when he was out and had a warrant but ended up turning himself in.hes in Garza West I hope this form works.
