Hon, I'm sorry but we prefer to keep everything on the boards as it can help others as well. We cannot give legal advice as we are not lawyers but family and friends whose loved ones are incarcerated. PTO was founded as a forum to help family members cope with these experiences; through the provision of non-judgmental support and the sharing of information.

Sorry to hear that. I know nothing about your situation, but I do know one thing. Your husband needs to advocate for himself in that situation. Many people I know have achieved the best results by staying strong and fighting and pushing to talk to the right people.

There are many facets to the legal system and results all depend on how much ground you give. For instance, if you sign a plea deal, you are giving up the right to appeal.... Some conditions may apply on that even and possible there are ways around even that!

As they say, were not a legal help group, but we do support each other and were here to help you go the right direction so you are not alone spinning in circles. I will say though, we all share in the fact that our road is not paved with gold bricks, its more like spiny thorns hahah

I still think that his best chances are with parole, and/or an application to the governor for a pardon/clemency. Here's a link to "How to Apply for a Pardon, State of California Office of the Governor posted by the San Diego County Public Defender's office".

So his limit is expired? Her can no longer appeal? I'm sorry, but i don't think you can do anything else. I'm not a lawyer, but that's what I believe to be true. If that's the case, I am so very very sorry for you both.
