Default How do I find laws that have recently passed?

I've looked online but that darn site is so confusing. It doesn't say if the laws that were brought up we passed or not. Anyone know anything???

Do you have Bill number? The Legislature page will follow all Bills throughout the process. Also, you are asking about Michigan specific Bills, right? Not Federal?

Is this what you are talking about?

House passes criminal justice package, leaves behind post-incarceration jobs bill

LANSING, MI -- The House on Wednesday passed a broad package of bills aimed at criminal justice reform, but left behind one that would have given employers grants to hire parolees and probationers. Overall, the 21-bill package aims to stop recidivism -- what main sponsor Sen. John Proos, R-St. Joe, refers to as the revolving door of the state's $2 billion corrections system.
"The intent is for the reform package to increase the chance of success for offenders both on the front door of our prison system and on the back door of our prison system," Proos said.

...The package has passed both chambers, but the Senate will need to approve the bills in their House-passed forms, and they will need a signature from the governor, to become law.

I'll have to click the link and check it out. I know there were some passed. I just wasn't sure if any were passed pertaining to those in prison now.

criminal justice Reform SB bills 5-13, 15-24 and 50 have passed the house and have been looked at by govern Snyder on March 21st 2017. I seen some amendments have been done, it is just a waiting game right now, he has 14 days to sign the bills in law or veto them. But from what I read, they have a very good chance at passing.
