Hi HaveFaith12 and welcome to PTO. I have moved your thread here to the CIW forum so that members who have or are dealing with that facility can reach out to you. Meanwhile have a look around this forum and others in the California forums. I'm sure you will find them informative. Best of luck to you and your family.

Hi HaveFaith, I gone ahead and moved your post (sorry, again) to the release thread for ciw.

I dont have a loved one there but my hub was released from cci, and the whole thing sort of goes like this....
If you know what day, I'd get there the day before. Book a room in a motel, and then in the morning go to the facility. They released my hub at approx 9 to 11 am.
(they start earlier to process them) but my folks had to be there in the am by 8.

I'd suggest calling the facility (maybe talk to R&R would be the best spot)
I'd call early in the am so hopefully you will get to talk with someone.
Check this thread for the phone numbers

oops add.
They will let her know when she will have to report to Parole, so be sure to find out if its the same day or the next few. You might also call the parole office and ask them. they might not give you alot of info, but I did do that prior to my hub being released and was able to speak with his parole agent and got a bit of info.

They typically release between 8 and 9 in the morning. There are several hotels in the area.
