I just had a call from my son. He said they've been moving a lot of people around in the last couple of days and things are kind of crazy - no yard or phones - but it's better today. Hope you get a call soon!

Did he say where they are moving them? Cause my husband only has about 7 weeks before his release date

He's in T yard. They're turning one of the buildings into a SAP bldg so they're moving guys out into other buildings and moving guys in for the SAP program. That's great news about your husband's release. I hope the time goes fast for you!

I didn't get the impression that they're on lockdown - only that the programming was messed up with the phones and yard. He said things were getting back to normal. He's supposed to call again today or tomorrow so I'll find out for sure and let you know.

Hi fluffy - I just received this email. You might have received the same one, but I'll post it here just in case.

New Message:

Facility A ? Normal Program Facility B ? Northern and Southern Hispanics in Dorms 65 through 74 are on normal program. There will be no visiting or family visiting for all other Northern and Southern Hispanics on Facility B. All other inmates on Facility B are on normal program. Facility C ? Normal Program

So it does look like something is going on in Facility B. I hope it doesn't affect your husband.

I heard it depends on what facility and why their on lockdown. Like the riot at CSP SAC, i heard i could last up to 6 months for those involved.

My son is in Facility C which wasn't on lockdown. He called this morning and I asked about the lockdown on the main yard and he said it's over. It apparently only lasted a day or two. Hope this helps.

Welcome to Prison Talk! I moved your post to this lockdown thread as you were asking in your other post whether there is a lockdown or not -- so hopefully someone will be able to shine some light on the situation.

You can also try and call the facility; sometimes they will tell you if there is a lockdown even though they probably aren't able to advise you how long it will last.

If you son has writing supplies, he should be able to write you and you are able to write him - and if you have money on your phone via GTL, you son should be able to call you after the possible lockdown is over.
