The Massachusetts division of the ACLU in concert with a number of other groups has put together a website that gets into the powers of the DA, and the various elections of DAs. You can discover a lot about the DA in your county, and look at those running for DA and make a huge impact on the criminal justice system in MA and your county by voting.

This is a resource that acts to educate the voting population about various DAs, and the potential impact they can have on your particular interests. DAs and Sheriffs have the most impact on a county. Best to know who has those jobs, who wants those jobs, and the potential good or bad they could do.
