Default Ohio's proposed budget continues to draw scrutiny for the proposed sale of five state

Gov. John Kasich's proposed budget is still drawing scrutiny for the proposed cuts to close a nearly $8 billion gap.
One of the biggest changes would come to the state prison system with the sale of five facilities to private contractors.
The facilities include the North Coast Correctional Treatment Facility, Grafton Correctional Institution, Lake Erie Correctional Institution, the North Central Correctional Institution and a juvenile prison that closed in 2009.
The state said that no employee who wants to stay in corrections will lose their job, although buyouts will be offered.
Maximum-security prisoners, women and those with mental health or medical issues will stay in state-operated prisons.
