Default Risk Assessment Rating

Hi Guys, sorry for the dumb questions .... i tried searching for my answer but to no avail.

On the Kentucky DOC inmate profiles it has a section stating Risk Assessment Rating.... What does this refer to... Risk of re-offending? Risk of escaping or risk of causing trouble inside? It seems very vague to me.

Thanks
David

I believe that assessment is the risk of re-offending based on criminal history / charges....My Mr is a "medium" and is in no way a threat to escape or cause trouble. His institutional record is pretty darned good.

They use more than just criminal history / charges to come up with the rating...a lot of the info used can be found on her PSI (family history, employment, education etc).
