Has there been any new house bills passed in IL for inmate rights? HB6622?
Has there been any new house bills passed in IL for inmate rights?
My husband has told me that there was a new bill he was hoping will pass for anyone who has been arrested under the age of 25 and have been in prison for over 25 years. I think it was YOUTHFUL OFFENDER PAROLE HB6622.
Is there any other bills on the table? Does anyone ever go an lobby the legislators? and if so, how could I sign up to be a part of this?
What does "sine die" mean?
Literally, "without day." The term is used to signify the final adjournment of a session of a legislative body. The body adjourns sine die when it adjourns without appointing a day on which to appear or assemble again
Thank you! thats what I was looking at and he told me that others in the law library said that the bill was passed. I told him no and he told me to ask Prison Talk. I don't know why he didn't believe me lol
