Default We're not married, can I pick him up when he's released on parole?

Not married will that be a issue when he gets out? Can he leave with me?

I think you could. My folks were the ones who picked up my hubby for me.....

Why not? Once he's released he's free to go where and with whom he wants within the parameters of his parole.

Yes, he's allowed to walk out the gate and into your arms and vehicle. He just needs to let them know he has a ride. Dee and I are not married yet and won't be when she's released and I'll be picking her up. It's not a problem.

How long until he's out?

You got a bit to go then......well, one thing you can tick off the worry list, you'll be able to pick him up I feel for you, not sure how long he's been down, but I'm coming up on the end of what will have been a 5 year bid. And I'll tell you.....I get it because I was asking the same sorts of questions back then and people would say "well, yeah, but you've got so long to go...." So...you've got so long to go....and...I get it.

Keep coming back for support, keep holding him up, and I'm sure I'm about the 50th person to say this, but welcome to PTO

Unless you have some type of document that says he cannot be around you such as a restraining order, no contact order or conditions set by his PO you should have no problem.

Time flies when you're having fun LOL!

BTW, I picked up Dee in December and I can verify, they don't care if you're married or not. I'm living proof that you can pick someone up without being married or next-of-kin.

Hope you and ChumpChump are doing well!
