New inmate messaging and email services provider February 25
Quote:
The KDOC is currently in the process of transitioning providers of inmate messaging and email services. Effective February 25th, the KDOC will begin providing inmates the capability of messaging and email through a new provider (Edovo) and inmates will begin purchasing stamps/email credits through Edovo on this date. Further information on this purchase process will be forthcoming.
Please note that this transition will not impact the money transfer services currently offered by JPay.
Inmates have until February 24th to use their current stamp balance with JPay. Additionally, the KDOC and JPay will stop selling new stamps to inmates on February 15th to ensure that inmates have the appropriate time needed to use up their current stamp balances.
The KDOC is also working with JPay to ensure that all inmate inboxes and/or saved messages will be transferred over to the new Edovo system after the transition from JPay to Edovo takes place.
