Hi everyone
It seems like it’s been a while that anyone has posted but I really need help. Is it acceptable to send Valentine’s Day cards ? Also is it acceptable to send pictures? I don’t want to do anything that would get him in trouble. He has been in since 12/172019. This is his first offense. Please help
Thanks kjz1234 and everyone that replied to me. Am I the only one just trying to figure this new world out. I’m so afraid of doing something that will get him in trouble. I am so glad that I found you all. Thanks again!!! Haven’t sleepy good since 12/17/2019 but hope to sleep well tonight thanks to my new family.
You could also browse through the AZ forums if you haven’t already as I’m sure a lot of topics you’re wondering about may have been talked about. This site and the people on it are great!

You cannot send cards with glitter, or anything that can be removed from the card. South Carolina's DOC website doesn't explain what kind of cards they are allowed to receive.
When you send pictures, the maximum you can send per envelope is 10, anymore than that will be destroyed. While he's at R&E, he cannot receive pictures. Only cards and letters.
Here's the link to the general FAQ regarding sending mail,

I'd be careful using this site. Most of the information has been revised or is outdated.
