Default Is it true or just a rumor??????????

Is there any truth in this law rick scott is suppose to pass where inmates in florida will serve only 71% of their sentence?

No. There is currently no proposal to do that and the legislature doesn't even meet again until 2012. It would require them passing a law.

Please keep in mind that most of the time these questions are asked elsewhere on PTO by new members not familiar with how to use PTO. There new thread and the existing thread is usually merged in order to help them with get the answer(s) they are looking for since this rumor has been around for so long.

We were all new once and sometimes we even still have posts and threads moved because we weren't the question(s) or info had already been posted.

Okay so I'm new to all this prison stuff and law stuff and can barely understand in. So my question is,
Does anyone know about the bill about the "percentage" goin down or up??? Did it pass and does anyone know what I'm talking about???

There is currently no bill under consideration that would change the percentage of sentence that an inmate has to serve. It's a longtime prison rumor that comes around constantly in various forms.
