Default CMC Mail Q&A

HEY LADIES MY FRIEND WAS TRANSFFERED TO CMC, I CALLED RECORDS AND THE LADY WAS REAL NICE, SHE TOLD ME HOW TO WRITE THE ENVELOPE OUT BUT IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE. THIS IS WHAT SHE TOLD ME TO WRITE...

CDC & NAME A- QUAD 1260X
HIGHWAY 1
PO BOX 8103
S.L.O CA 93409-8103
BUT ON OTHER THREADS THE ADD. ISNT LIKE THAT CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO WRITE IT OUT?! THANKS LADIES I FEEL SO SLOW I CANT FIGURE THIS ONE OUT!

This is how I address my letters

Name and CDC number
P.O Box 8101 rm number
San Luis Obispo, Ca
93409-8101


It is short and sweet and my letters get to him.

Unfortunately the lady in Records gave you the wrong PO BOX number for the East facility. If your friend is on the East Facility of CMC this is how I address my envelopes. I like to include his cell number so it can get to him quicker.

Insert Inmates Name Here + cdc#
CMC East (the Quad he is on + cell #xxxx)
P.O. Box 8101
San Luis Obispo, CA 93409-8101

On west, usually around 2 weeks. Depending on if there are holiday where extra mail is incoming. Like valentines day. Quickest he got one was 6 days and we were shocked. Longest hits 3 weeks which is rare. But just recently, so over Christmas and New Years, I sent a letter and he barely got it. About 6 weeks. That's a first.

Yes! Just use his mailing address for the book when you order. Billing address your address and mailing address his. Hope this helped!
