Default Halfway House In Oklahoma City

Hello Everyone,
I need in formation on what to expect when my boyfriend goes to the halfway house, like what are the rules? where is it located? I also would appreciate any information how they get transported to the halfway house? Iwas approved to drive him but now Iam denied because of a new warden. He coming from Southern California so how much time does he have to report? Oh
Iforgot to ask do you know how much time he is expected to be in the halfway house? Thank you

Jennifer, he will be under the jurisdiction of the BOP (halfway house) through the last day of his sentence, although he could have the very last part as home confinement. He will probably ride a bus from California to Oklahoma and the BOP knows how long this will take (they allow a little leeway but very little).

I don't know anything about the halfway house in Oklahoma City but someone will come along that does. Generally the inmate will have a one day orientation and the next day they are expected to be looking for work. You should be able to drive him. He will have to list where he is applying and then call from each location. They really keep their finger on you. Soon after arrival, he may have a pass to get personal toiletry items at Walmart or Target. You should be able to drive him.

Once he has secured a 40 hr job, received one paycheck, and paid the halfway house 25% he can begin to get regular passes. The halfway house will approve one residence for him to visit and stay at during passes. Go through the threads in the Community Supervision and you should get most of your general questions answered.

We're here to help you.
