My pets are a bit smaller
I have two dwarf hamsters. One old lady, 2 year old mama hamster (Tweety) and one a bit younger lady, 19 months old daughter hamster (Lil').
I also had the daddy (Speedy) but he died 3 moths ago at the age of 21 months.
Atm I also have Lil's sister Bob (we thought she was male ) because my friend is on holidays.

I have two Siamese cats. Let me re-phrase that...
there's two cats that allow me to live here with them. LOL Jody is 10 yr old Sealpoint Siamese. Jake is 12 yr old Bluepoint. He is Diabetic and when diagnosed last Nov, thought sure he would get sick and maybe lose him. Ha, he'll probably outlive me!!! All it took was changing his food to Hills MD Prescription Feline Food which the Vet has to order for me. No medication is needed so far. What's surprising is the female cat eats the food also. They both love it. It is very expensive $30 per bag. If anyone knows where I can get it cheaper, please let me know. I live on fixed income.

cmom,
In the links on the top of the forum there are some places you can order on line and still pay less. Try the fosters and smith site, as long as you have the script they can probably get you what you need.

My house is empty now as all have passed on. I will probably start up again after the first of the year, but my pet saturation level was: 2 parakeets, 6 fish, 1 frog, 2 rats, 2 dogs, and three cats. The cats ran the place! As they passed away and the others kept getting older I didn't feel right about introducing new blood and stressing out my elderly pets. So now it's very lonely!
