Yes, it's a shame that lives are NOT black and white, there are so many gray areas but the system doesn't recognize that.

My guy was FRAMED
Victim of fabricated stories, shitty case handling by a shitty as court appointed lawyer who was probably slaving to become something bigger than that with little to no chance so any conviction for him would have been great.
No evidence linking him to the crime
Eyewitness STATED IN COURT IT WASNT HIM
The GUY ADMITTED HIS INNOCENCE
"Witnesses" recanted their stories

Its messed up.

Not guilty. Innocent. Set up all so that guy who was about to do life in the feds could walk.

Sick twisted shitty system

Combination of set-up and guilty. My husband is guilty of the crime that he committed, second degree petty larceny. However, he has a mental illness that was undiagnosed at the time, a bad group of people saw the dent in his armor, so to speak, and brainwashed and abused him until he snapped. Now he is in jail and his "friends" are nowhere to be found. He called the cops on himself. He is in a mental health block right now and getting at least some of the help he needs.

Guilty with inflated charges and false accusations to up the sentence. Perjury by the plaintiff. A false police report that amounted to no charges, yet the judge "believed the accusations to be true" without proof. Nothing done by the sheriff to look into the false report. The plaintiff asked for the maximum sentence by way of lies in the victim statement and the judge just went along with it. The sentence was 2 1/2 to 20 yrs, while the PO preliminary report recommended 15 to 25 months.

There are far too many "million year" judges. Unfortunately there isn't much anyone can do once you are unlucky enough to have them assigned to your case.

Our county in Michigan is known to be shady and corrupt by many. When all this is over we plan to move as far away as possible from this miserable area.

Guilty....2nd Parole Violation, he's never admitted innocence because he knows he's guilty, for both parole violations, and his original crime which was violating restraining order. Now he's over it, he's tired of running from everything and getting it all over and done with so he can move on with life, this time with no help from anyone other than emotional support, he's doing this on his own which shows to both myself and his family he must be serious, because previously he was depressed and didn't give a shit about himself and those around him. Though time will tell.
