Violaton of probation--original crime was breaking and entering and larceny of firearms. Originally a 12-16 month sentence, but 9-13 now because of time served prior to the most recent arrest.

My hubby got 10 years for mail fraud and conspiracy. No chance for parole in Federal prison so he will be there a long time. No crime, no damages, no victims and no restitution. Doesn't make sense!

what exactly is mail fraud?? I know this sounds like a dumb question. I never understood why people get so much time for something that doesn't sound that bad. Maybe im just not understanding what it is.

Being a complete and total dumbass. This is his 4th time caught driving on a suspended license, the whole "suspended" part is funny because he never even had a license to begin with. He is lucky he could have gotten 2 years but has had to pull 6 months in county and will be on 1 year probation. He also pulled 6 months last year for the same thing.

Mine is serving a life sentence because his friend "shot and killed" a rival gang member. My bf supposedly said to his friend "shoot em".. He was 16 when this happened and was charged as an adult for it.

i mean it all depends. It could be a few years or so. If he realli didnt do it, then hopefully his lawyer can do something. There has to be sumttin to prove he didnt do it. Keep ur head up girl. Its a process especially if theres no prove and he says he realli innocent.

originally had drug charges... was parolled to a halfway house and relapsed, was afraid to piss dirty so he didnt check back into the halfway house. so now he's on an escape charge, only had 2 yrs left he woulda finished out if he pissed dirty but they slapped him with the escape and is finishing out 7 yrs now.. but they are running concurrent, thank god. hindsight is 20/20 .. shoulda just took the violation and he woulda been home a long time ago :/
