Nothing other than the normal...no blue, no underwire, etc. Processing there is usually pretty easy and quick. If they do make you change, they have the Friends on the Outside trailer that can loan you something to wear.
I usually take $30 and get two picture ducats - $2 each.
Have a good visit.

Bring extra clothes cause the co's are not all on the same page lol and they let some slide and well you know the rest are SOL, good luck. Ooh if you have your approved visitation for make a copy and bring it, due to their updated system at cvsp they refused visits cause their information was lost.

Default Trying to visit my dad for the first time in my life

so i dont know either of my parents due to both of them being incarcerated before i was born. before i turned 18 i was approved for visitation but i never went. i am now 22 and about to have a baby in 6 weeks and want to visit my dad for the first time before my daughter is here. my dad recently wrote me a letter saying i was approved but its been so long im not sure if i still am and its so hard to even get a hold of a human to talk to and find out. so my question is, do i need to fill out another visitation form or can i just show up? i want it to be a surprise for my dad.

you stay on the list in Cali unless the inmate takes you off. Even when they move from facility to facility thier file follows them.

they might have you fill out one when u get there just to update your info but thats about it.

If you were approved under a different name and you have an old ID with that name I would take it. if you had a diffrent address at the time your good because your name and ID # will be the same, hence the reason they have you update the application every few years.

The application process is the same, but the visits r behind glass, a max of only 3 people can visit, including kids, and u only get to visit for 2 hours, 1 day of the weekend. u talk through a phone, like in county.

It's not mandatory, I usually don't cause I go really early in the morning, but some people do and they get in pretty quick.

If you get there before 745am, there will be a car line on the side of the road....I am not sure what the earliest time is that you can get there, but I have been there as earlier as 5am. Once is gets to be 745, they will start letting you in to where the guard shack is, and they will check your ID and trunk. Once you pass that, visiting parking is on the right, if its before 8am, you will line up outside, they start letting you in at 8. Processing is pretty quick and easy.

America's Best Value Inn is pretty good. I have stayed at the Motel 6, it's okay too...unfortunalty, the words, "nice" and "inexpensive" don't really go hand in had when it comes to hotels in Blythe...
