Hi,

Just found this place. Figured I would check in. I did just under a year in the Connecticut Judicial System for a non-violent crime. I was housed in level 4 (McD) and Walker because I was a high level medical. I did my 5 years of probation and can answer any reasonable questions about the system, both pre-trial, post trial and post release that anyone has.

Feel free to ask in forum or PM.

If I do not answer quickly, just wait... I will get to it.

-M

Hi and welcome! I'm glad you found us and joined!

It sounds like you are on the winning end of CT DOC--done! Good for you! You might want to check out the section "For Offenders" as it addresses important areas such as resources for support, employment and other aspects related to being home.

I hope that all is going well for you--and if you need a hand, give a yell. Just like you, we are all here to help each other. It seems like we could all use some help getting over this stupid snow...I know, I know; complaining about snow when you live in New England is silly...
