No one gets good time off the front. It always comes off the back end.

Thats tough, My husband just went in. He is also serving 2-5. Most of the places I have read its only time taken off the back not the front. But then again I read on NDOC that you CAN have time taken off the front. I am way confused too. Shitty because the attorneys all said he could get time off the front and would be out in a year. He entered a plea deal because of that. I don't know if it may depends on the charges or what. Hopefully it works out for your guy. Let me know if you hear anything. Hang in there love

Default Ab510

Google AB510 Nevada Supreme Court ruling. That takes time off the front end if the offender meets certain criteria and felony classifications. I think that being a NON violent crime. Also, another bill AB136 was introduced in 2011 and actually passed the state legislature after a "reconsideration" which was meant to include Class B felons and increase some of the "good time" credits as well but this bill was VETOED by Gov. Sandoval unfortunately and has since not been reintroduced.

End of the day, if your loved one meets the felony classification, he/she could see some time of his min. sentence, from how I read this bill.
