Default Are first time non-violent offenders eligible for work release in Alabama?

I was recently coerced and extorted into taking a bad plea deal. I was charged with trafficking marijuana but when the lab report came back they didnt have the weight needed to charge me with traffickng. They had 981 grams and needed 1008. The warrant had different names and addresses and was even changed after the warrant and search had concluded. My attorney filed a motion to supress the warrant but the judge sided with the prosecution even after the judge who signed it admitted to changing the warrant days after the search. I was told that if i didnt take the plea that the prosecution would file enhacements for the firearms found on the property that were stored seperately from the grow area. When the judge heard the motion to suppress the detective and one of the arresting officers lied on the stand about what they found and saw.. also the prosecutor told a lawyer i consulted about a rule 32 petition that he would love to try the case at trial and even tho he didnt have the extra 27 grams to make the trafficking case he would find it.. i spoke to a civil rights attorney who told me that prosecutors can do whatever they want. From what i have read and understood i was railroaded and extorted into the plea as the prosecutor violated "color of law" rules... the judge and prosecutor both said theyvwoukd suggest work release for me but i was told by a friend who has beem to prison on trafficking charges that im ineligible for work release because its a minimum in classification and i wouldnt be eligible for minimum out work release program... can any one tell me if being a first time non-violent offender makes me eligible for work release or am i gonna be stuck at a medium level camp to serve my 3 yrs? I also have other questions but will ask after i find out the information on work release.. thanks in advance... PEACE...
