Default was CTC housing now ASU/medical

Oh yeah. I am quite used to the run around. He's been down more than 20 years. Usually someone will have the direct extensions when he hits a new place. I have a fine collection of numbers and extensions for the places he's been the last few years. It just makes things a bit easier. When I really get stuck I just have the attorney call, but I hate to waste his time with stuff I can do myself.
I will call the ombudsman and leave a message.
thx for the # for her. I jotted it down but couldn't find the paper. Now I don't have to look back through the messages

Ok, today at visiting I saw this guy who was hairy, unshaved and very unkempt. I commented on him and my husband broke down D yard for me. D-1 and D-2 is the mainline for, well I'll call them medical although that is not the term he used and I don't know the politically correct term, D-3 is the reception for them, D-4 and D-5 is reception for GP. I told him everyone in the blues does not look like that and he said some of them are the carry overs from sny.

Hey sweetie it means Sensitive Needs Yard. It usually house inmates with high profile cases, sexual offenders and inmates who choose to give up gang affliations to program normally and do their time in peace. I hope this helps

I believe it's level 4 except for the gym, which is level 3.

C-yard is the whole yard per say, then it's broken up in to buildings/blocks 1-5 and then the gym housing. So if he is just putting C yard, not sure, maybe he forgot to put the number? He has to be in a block/or the gym. You can call with his CDC and get his housing block from LAC. HTH

Hi Girls!
My friend is in C2, I heard this is SNY recepcion. If he is in reception in C, will he stay in a C building?
I suppose it is good that he is in C, because it is the new SNY?
Thanks,

Thanks,
C2 I believe is an open block, I thought C1 was SNY reception. I'm not sure really, they are changing things left and right, right now at LAC. I know that C2-C5 and Cgym have contact visit's. If he is in reception on C yard then most likely he will stay on C yard after reception. and yes C yard is the new SNY.

Have a great day.

Wink

Thanks soo much for this information. I am new here, and it feels so good to have information and not feel so lost in the system. I appreciate this a lot!
Hahaha I don't even know what open block is.
I just received a letter from him. He said he was moved to C5, does anyone know what C5 is about?
I consider it a good thing that he is in SNY, despite of everything.
wish u all the best.
cheers!

Can someone give me info on C-yard? Compared to other SNY yards does your inmate like it? Do they have programs, jobs? How about lockdowns? long-short-many-few.

Thanks for any info.
