Hello ladies, new here.

My friend is being transfered from HDSP Ad Seg to Lancaster. I assume since he was in Ad Seg at HDSP, they will put him in Ad Seg at LAC, correct? I also assume that if you end up in Ad Seg you are (or become) a level 4 inmate?

I read this thread, looks like ASU is in A-4 at LAC but are there any other units housing Ad Seg inmates there? Or is it just A4?

Who here has someone in ASU at LAC? I'd like to get the lowdown - are the ASU cells single or double occupency? Do they have windows? Will he ever be able to go to the dog run? They have been on lock down up at HDSP since October .

On the bright side, unbeknowst to them they are actualy shipping him DOWN TO ME ... So maybe I will be able to visit him soon!

He was just transferred there about 10 days ago. He has not even had a write up in 5+ years, but he is in ASU right now awaiting a bed on the correct yard. He was told that by the CO's, I also talked w counselor last week.

Hi whatever... C yard is SNY level 4. I'm there too. Also my guy was in A5 when he first arrived, it's ad seg and they put them there while waiting for a bed to open. My guy was there about 12 days I think.

When I called to get his bed info and they told me A5-
I asked if this is his permanent housing or temporary. She said this is where he will stay. Does that sound right? What is A5?

Did he get moved to the he for discipline issues? A5 is adseg. When my guy was transferred to LAC he sat in A5 waiting for a bed on c yard. He did not get transferred due to being in trouble. They just had a bed shortage on yard he was supposed to be on. So it depends on why he is there.

There's a few different things going on with him. He was at San Luis Obispo in their hospital and now I was told he will be headed to an sny yard which he wasn't before so I'm not sure. He also has pending charges now. I did just get off the phone with Lancaster and said he will not recieve any mail while he is in A5 because he is being segregated. He said it doesn't list why. Once he gets classified he said he will be moved out of there. I wonder how long that will take. He's been there a week now and is probably dying with no mail or able to write mail.
