Default Is early release from probation possible?

I have a 17 year old on probation. In this state he is considered an adult. He has paid everything including his probation costs for the year and he works 40+ hours a week. He was knocked down to once a month reporting and today he went in and the probation officer canceled his curfew and put him on once a month call in. Is there a chance they are working towards early release? Once he is released from probation he wants to get into the military. He is on some type of probation where everything but the arrest will be erased from his record.

I dont know for sure, but I believe the answer is yes. I know that my man said he can get off of parole early as long as he doesn what he is supposed to do. A judge would have to make that decision, but as for a minor, I think the probation dept gets to make that decision. Anything is possible. glad he is making good decisions.

we do allow for early termintion of probation in va. All special conditions must be satisfied, and the offender must have servbed at least half of their probation time.

Thanks, Yes he paid the court costs and probation. That was the only things he had to do.

Yes you can... At least in oregon anyways... I got of mine 5 months early! You just got to go in and have him talk to his p.o. and if he hasnt had any violations and has paid everythang then he can file a motion to have his probation terminated... i was actually filing a motion to transfer to unsupervised probation and the d.a./ judge decided to terminate it because i was doing good.. so yeah it is possible!

I'm working on an early probation release myself. Shooting for this summer so, yes, it can be done in some states.
