Is it just certain yards that the inmates can't walk around or is it the rules with all yards? I think this rule is so stupid. Just another way to discourage families from visiting their loved one!

Glad you had a good visit and that they are relaxing in the rules a bit. Hopefully, by the time I make my way down there again it will be back to my normal . I've only visited there ONE time but it was really good

Any ladies visiting D8 this weekend - do you know if its contact visits for them? It is the 3rd weekend, however the automated email that VPASS sends out says otherwise...

That's one of those hit or miss colors. I think they don't allow it because the guys in Ad Seg are in white but it gets over looked a lot but when your the one wearing it and they make you go change you'll really wish you had worn a different color.
Oh yeah, then there's the fact that the fabric might be too thin. I got stopped for that once...it's just easier NOT to wear it.

and just a quick note about getting through to visit. The last time I was there I had brought my unopened tissue pack that I didn't use the time before. But this time the girl says "you can't take this in...no...wait...is this on the website as ok?". I said yes ( because it is) then she said I could bring it in this time but leave it next time you won't be able to bring it in.

I know, they are weird. I told her she could throw it away and that I didn't need it but she said it was ok She wasn't mean or anything though.
That same day I had to change my pants too. I sat and watched at least 10 ladies walk in with the same damn pants and get through but I had to go change. The next time I go I'm going to wear those same damn pants and I'll bet I get in,lol. I'll bring my own change just in case

I'll tell you what I usually wear and get in with. Black jeans. Almost a legging but actual jean material and with the stretch band at the waist. I've worn track like pants. Make sure there is no little metal rings where the string would be pulled through. I've worn black yoga pants and have gotten in but then I've worn the same damned pants and had to change even after I just watched 10 girls get in with the same pants on. Mine were not nearly as tight as the others I saw. I am in no way over weight.
Make the top kinda long and loose. It'll be easier to get in with stretch like pants.
BRING A BIGGER, BAGGIER OUT FIT AND KEEP IT IN THE CAR JUST IN CASE.
Going to the trailer to change is a joke. You'll end up looking like a clown!

NO HOODS AT ALL. Not on a sweat shirt or even a regular jacket.
Pretty much anything else you may or may not get in. Very important to bring the change of clothes though.

Hope this helps

By the way, regular sweats, pants and shirts are fine too. I just don't dress like that unless I'm at the gym but I see a lot of other girls wearing them.

Default Extra Support

Ok girlies, I've been suffering not being able to wear underwire bra, well I very much need the extra support. I just went to Lane Bryant and they have this new No Wire Bra and I was so amazed on how mush support I got. In fact if you buy two bras before 1/21/13 you get two free. So I saved a lot of money but more important is I have the extra support I need

the co's are haters and they don't want you looking cute... loose clothing is best unless you don't mind the walk from processing to your car or trailer. good luck!

It's not sooo bad I freaked out the first couple times but I'm getting the hang of what these CO's are looking for.... Here are some of the outfits I have been able to go in with.
- I actually changed my whole clothing into "prison clothing" haha it can be stressing tho...

I buy one size bigger in jeans and yea I have worn my white glitter jeans more then twice and my red jeans too!

Those pink pants are the supper lose ones and I wore high black booties with them and a tight black shirt.

I when I wear loose shirts and it gives me no form at all I wear a waist belt! And I also wear a supper shiny black headband. you can dress up!
Target has cute shirts and dresses! I baught a few last summer! And I have gone to old navy and a lot of basic nice shirts! Cheep too!!

I mainly shop at forever 21.

Good luck ladies. ) first time posting pictures so, hopefully they came up!? Haha

This is a dress but I thought It was too short so turned the top part inside so I can use it as a skirt! and wore that SAME black short it's tight from the stomach and loose from the bust.

image-2309868384.jpg

This shirt I have not worn, but let me friend barrow it and she got in perfectly fine

did you get a receipt? call the place and have them write a letter stating that you paid the citation (with the citation number) and that is your proof.

I called visiting today and talked to them and was told to send my denial letter along with a copy of my license. So I sent them a copy of the dmv print out. He said once they receive it they can run my info again. I mailed it out today.. So I'm hoping I get approved and that it don't take too long. I miss my man : ( and am looking fwd to seeing him. haven't seen em in three years!

My man said that they are getting contact visits but vpass says different : / I'm confused.. I don't want to drive 6 hours for a non contact visit.
