D7-D8 only get contact visits the 3rd weekend of every month. VPass does not allow you to schedule appts any farther than 2 weeks out. The system should update Sunday afternoon for you to make your appt for the 16th and 17th.

Yeah, you can make appts for both days. If you are going to get a hotel, there is a sticky at the top of the KVSP forum that has a list of hotels. I have stayed at Rodeway a few times and it's decent for what you pay.

I would suggest the roadway in also-if you book it online it's a little cheaper- and if you join the choice rewards program- you get a free room every couple of months :-)

Thank you : ) and does anyone know why the information on vpass says non-contact visits for d8? Aren't they suppose to have contact visits this weekend?

Hi Ladies. Any changes in the visits since they went bad about 6 weeks ago? It's been that long since my last visit. That's when they got really strict on the rules. I'm probably going next weekend and am curios.

Hey Everyone~ I am anticipating my very first visit on Sunday the 24th. My friend is on B Yard. Here is my situation and tell me if it sounds shady. Ive been trying almost everyday to make an appt on that Vpass site and I never ever have any luck. This is the only thing prohibiting me from seeing my friend. Mind you I haven't seen his face in 3 years. It took me a year to locate him, then he was in reception for 10 months and now finally here and when he got to KVSP they were on lock down FOREVER. Anyway, I called the visitng line and spoke to Officer Mendez. I asked him how can I get an appt. he asked me who I was, have I ever visited, where I live, etc. and then said just come in on Sunday at 8AM and you will get a visit...he said just mention you spoke to me or find me and remind him that we spoke on Valentines Day and he'll get me in my visit but I have to be there by 8 AM! So does this sound legit? Im making a 2.5 hour drive and that's a lot of gas! haha
