Does anyone know how soon in advance they inform the inmate when they'll be released before they do release them?
It'd be nice to know ahead of time right? So we can make arrangements to get our loved one picked up...

Our attorney's legal assistant informed me that the court clerk sent my husband's paperwork from the resentencing hearing ordering him to be released to the prison on Thursday 4/11 and I just spoke to his counselor today and he said he should be released by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week I also read somewhere can't remember where now, but the prison has 5 days to release the inmate after receiving paperwork from the courts. So, in our case it has taken about 3 weeks for him to be released...

Can anyone tell me the process or where I have to go pick my husband up and at what time? When he is released from kvsp. We thought I would pick him up at the prison but he recently found out that they don't do gate releases. I tried calling the prison but I only get a automated system not a live person. PLEASE HELP

Does anyone know any updated info in regards to the release procedure? Like what time they release them, where do you pick them up and if they are High Control if their release papers say they are to be released on a Fri is that what happens? I've heard High Control isn't released until Sun. I only ask because it's super important. My husband's release date does fall on a Fri which is one day before my birthday. I would be really happy that's what happens. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Does anyone know any updated info in regards to the release procedure? Like what time they release them? Also does anyone have any idea on how the new probation works? My hubby will be on probation instead of parole. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

You pick them up at the Greyhound station. Be there by 7am. They will release between 7-8am. Bring your ID when does your Lo get released? Mine is very soon.

My husband was just released Jan. 10th on my bday!! They take them to the Greyhound Station on High St. He was released around 715ish am. If no one is there to pick them up they put them on the greyhound to Bakersfield. First bus out. Luckily my husband was the only person released that day. Any other questions I will be glad to answer.

I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer or know who I can speak with to get the answer. When a LO is going to be released where can he parole? My fiancé is from a different county than I am from and he wants to parole in my county, is that possible and does him owing restitution effect anything? I really hope my question makes sense. Thank you.

from what I understand they have to have an approved address to parole to...I think they work that out with their counselor, but I'm not exactly sure. My LO said if they do NOT have a pre-approved address, AND someone picking them up from that address, they get sent to some Salvation Army 7 way house...?? Good luck!

pick up BY 7am at the Bus Station in Delano on High St, take Cecil Ave exit & go the opposite direction (I take 99 south to Cecil ave & normally take a Right towards KVSP...So for bus station, i'd take a Left) I believe High st is about 1/2 mile from the exit.) if i find the actual address i'll post it.
