Default Anyone at Spring Creek in Seward

Just looking to see if there is anyone out there that has a loved one in SCCC in Seward. My B/f was just transferred there from Goose Creek.

We still have friends at Seward, my husband actually got transferred from Seward to GCCC in October. I can tell you one thing...your man will eat a lot better at Seward! =) My hubby gained 8lbs while he was there. He promptly lost it and another ten or so when he got to GCCC

Good to know! That's great that he gained so much! But then he lost it all! Lol! Does he like GCCC better than Seward?

No he doesn't like GCCC at all but location wise it is better for us than Seward. Plus Spring Creek is a maximum facility and Goose is a medium. They keep transferring people back and forth. Who knows where he will be next.

Yes I know mine was thrilled to be transferred to Spring Creek. He also has put on all his weight that he lost at goose creek plus some.

I'm hoping things will improve at Goose Creek once they get more organized. So far it really seems more suitable for those men with shorter bids, but I think once they get more programs up and running and a proper amount of staff things will get better. They started a dog training program and next month they will begin Native drumming and Sweat Lodge ceremonies among other things. Mail is very slow. I send a card two and a half weeks ago and he still didn't receive it.

Yes I did resolve my phone issue, also the FCC's ruling on the rates went through and they have lowered the calling rates on Securus to meet that ruling so you might see some change in your phone bill. =)
