Sorry sweetie, but yes the deferment is set in stone. All credits given for classes, programs (including SAP) are taken off the back end of his sentence.....it'll shorten his "serve-out" date, but not parole eligibilty.

Stay strong, one more year. Provided he continues working, attending classss/programs and gets no major write-ups chances are good he'll be HOME next year

Talking parole deferred for 1 yr

Thanks Patchouli..I knew the answer lol..he is the one arguing the point with me. He's never been in prison before but has, in the past pushed his luck, well his luck ran out. I think this year will do him good and make him realize that the life he has been leading isn't the right way to go.He has been given more than a few chances, and didn't look at it as that. Don't get me wrong, I love him, but you can't take the chances afforded to you and piss them away and then get mad when your back in jail/prison. Time for him to figure out what's more important, being an inmate or having a life..and he got a 3 yr plea deal on fleeing and evading and wanton endangerment...was told he'd be out in 5 months no prison time at all by the lawyer. Lost that $5000 ;(

Actually, it was $500 well spent in my opinion. Those are both class D's which is 1-5 so he could have gotten 5 on each consecutive for 10. Good deal.
