Default Parole Revocation

Hi. My boyfriend has a parole revocation hearing coming up. We were told that if his parole is revoked he will have to do from the time he was arrested until he was supposed to get off parole...is this correct or will the 65% rule apply? Any tips or suggestions to help us out? Is there a way to beat this? Thank you!

If he has only 1, maybe 2 (3?), technical violations but has done well on parole otherwise for a substantial period of time, he may not be revoked....but if he's been a stinker (new charges) and/or a PITA to his PO and/or hasn't been out too awfully long & the technical violations are adding up expect him to be revoked. That means he will be sentenced to whatever amount of time he owes on his sentence.

I'm not familiar with SC, but he should be eligible for parole again at some point (if SC actually has parole). Will he be paroled again? Can't say, its going to depend on many factors and will be up to the Board.

Good luck!! Welcome to PTO
