Default Turning off commissary turning it back on

could some please tell me rules for turning back on priviages for canteen once out of the box

is the state is making intrest off of my money that is just sitting there

They can order some things while in the box like envelopes and stamps. Once the inmate is out of the box they can use their money again. If you wanted them to they could probably send the money back home to you by filling out a request. I try to avoid those JPay fees so I would rather have money in the account then have to send it any other way than the money order.

he is out of box and they say it takes 10 days to acivate his privilges , thats what has me upset. and this all has to be done in writing , my question is this fact or what ?

In 28 years and about 4 prisoners, I personally know, not counting all the years here at PTO, I've never heard of any such.

Was he in trouble over his account? I just can't imagine a reason.

I would call 1 (866) 209-7250 and press 0 to speak to them, this is the inmate trust fund services number. Then, I might even email the Warden.

After I called it was back on the next day
and no he didnt get in trouble for his account

I'm glad it was so easily resolved......we did have money held for 10 days once. I sent either 300 or 400 at one time. Long story I had to leave the country for a family emergency and didn't know how long I would be gone. I had sent a quick collect or western union, so it was cash.
