Hello all,

My name is Tim. I recently started reaching out to people on the inside after YEARS of not doing so in the past. When I first came out of the closet, I used to write to all sorts of inmates looking for love. I'm originally from a small town in Arkansas, and not knowing any gay men I thought this was how I was going to find that "total sexy butch top" haha

Obviously I'm 33 now much more the wiser. I LOVE to write snail mail letters and read. I figured this was a good way to get the communication going. This site really helped! I am seeing similar patterns I susceptibly fell for in the past but was far too young to recognize. I just started sending letters out so I'm going to keep my eyes open for sure.

I also think it's naive to say I'm going in looking for love since one never knows how ANY communication will play out. I like what a lot of you all have to say on here. I was a lurker but I am glad to be able to submit the information. I've researched a few sites and hopefully I can get the communication lines going here soon.

Thank gods I'm patient!

Usually just "thanking" a poster is enough to say you agree or appreciate the sentiments posted - in your case, your post was SPECTACULAR - so deserved (IMHO) an extra "hat-tip".

The love that many are looking for has to first exist within their relationship to themselves. It certainly sounds like you are moving rapidly in that direction. Then, you can "love others as they are, and as they're not."
