What can you tell me about the release procedures, I'm so confused I was told the 24th is my boyfriend release date but that lands on a Friday so now he was told by others inside that he won't be released on a Friday instead Mon but no one will confirm or deny

He will be released on a Sunday and report to his PO on Monday.

Hi my husband is in WSP-Reception he's been there since the 24th of June how long will he have to wait until I can get a call from him? Also what's the turnover time before he is sent to mainland? Thank you this is all new to me and still trying to figure it all out

They only get one phone call a month...as far as heading to mainland it all depends on how fast the counselor talks to him... I've heard of people being three months to some being up to 9 months...your best bet is to write to him.. letters will get to him but will take a while..also ask him to send you a visitor form so you can visit him takes about 2 months to get approved

Since we live in Florida we both agreed to wait till he is in mainland before we have visit. He’s already been there for 30 days it’s actually been 41 days since he’s arrived there ughs this is just hard missin him being so far away

I would still put in my visitor form now just so they can have it on record because it takes two months to get approved... It took me 4 months to get approved

agree about getting a visit application in asap.
As to how long reception is......its going to be up to them how long.

If they have a bed for him at whatever prison he is sent to.


My hub was in reception for 13 months. And back then, reception inmates didnt get phone calls.
Reception just SUCKED.
