Where will he go and JPay question

My boyfriend was in the Jefferson county jail in Colorado until July 23rd when they moved him to DRDC. I've gotten one letter and he thought he would get phone time this coming Tuesday but I just looked him up on Inmate locator and under Facility it says " Adult males housed in YOS" so I called them and they told me that he's in the Southern Transport Unit so he probably wont be there for very long. Is there anyway to find out where he will end up ? or how long it takes to get phone time or send letters once he gets there ? I've never had to deal with any of this before and I'm trying my best to help him but everything is so frustrating ! Also, I called Jpay and tried putting money on his books but they told me that his DOC number is locked and can't receive money...what does that mean ?! Is there anyone I can call to find out how to unlock it ? I'm so confused ! Any advice or information would help. I'm at a loss....

I don't think you can find out where he is going unil he goes. I am not sure which facilities they go to from YOS. Hang tight you will know soon. As far as jpay, I would call them and ask them as I have never heard of this. You can send him letters through jpay.

He ended up in Las Animas, CO at Bent County Correctional Facility. Now I have to wait to be approved on a phone list ? How long does that take ? and what does being "approved" entail ?

Every facility is different. I've seen approvals take anywhere from two days to three weeks. They check to make sure that the phone name and billing address is under whomever he requested on his list. I didn't think that they really verified but found out they do. My son's phone is under my name (for billing) and his number was denied. Hope this makes sense.

Only took me about a week and I was getting calls from my fiancee while he was still at DRDC.
