My LO graduated from the Earned Release Program at the Drug Abuse Correctional Center in Winnebago. The latested posting on CCAP states that his release paperwork was reviewed by the judge & is approved for release to extended supervision. That was on Thursday the 26th. The paperwork then gets mailed from the courts to Winnebago. Does anybody know how long it takes to get from the courts in Waukesha to the facility in Winnebago? He graduated on the 13th of January & is STILL there. REALLY hoping to get a phone call tomorrow(Monday)saying to pick him up on Tuesday. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks
I was never at Winnebago. But I can say that each place is different.
My RRS paperwork was signed on a wed. in Milwaukee, faxed to Madison. Then Faxed to Thompson Center. I was got a copy of it in my mail on Thurs, before even being told so by a social worker. I left on Tuesday Morning.
Again, each facility will be different, each group of social workers. The important part is it was granted. Shouldnt be long now.
