Coronavirus: How bad will it get? AZ DOC not prepared to deal with this.
So The Arizona health department has only said they're "working with" DOC to implement strategies to deal with an outbreak, and the DOC hasn't said much more than that.
Anyone else worried about how bad it will get, and how much DOC is clearly not prepared to deal with this?

Unfortunately they have suspended all visitation I'm also expecting mail to run even slower than normal. It really stinks, but I would rather error on the side of caution. We all know their health care is subpar.

I would imagine them having some type of sanitation process for mail?
Letting it sit there for how long the CDC says it stays without a host, them opening it and maybe letting it sit some more?
Even I'm suspicious of going to my own mail box and getting packages. I would imagine it's more so in there, not being able to clean with what you want to clean I hope every one stays safe

Most definitely, especially with the emergency motion filed in Federal court earlier this month. ADOC continues to do the minimum if anything that courts order.
Social distancing that has showed so much success is an impossible option, especially in all the dorms. The medical service (low bidder) has never been good. Maintaining reasonable hygiene, under normal circumstances has always been a challenge. I don't know if they're still using the two condemned cell blocks at Florence for incoming diagnostics, if they are those are beyond filthy, roach-infested s--t holes.
60 tested out of 43,000... Have to wonder if they were the high risk folks or how they selected them. Not much testing, not good, could be a ticking time bomb... Look at the Fed's results at one facility. Ducey's is failure as governor, typical politician. The prison system here is a petite dish.
I am wondering how they are choosing to test them as well, because my friend is in the Military and she had all the symptoms AND pregnant so "high risk" but her symptoms weren't severe so they wouldn't see her or test her.
Testing or the lack there of seems to be how the lid is being kept on the level of severity of this virus that has infected the human specie. They did a random test on a 100 people on the street and 1/3 showed positive. So we are expected to simply believe the numbers and feel safe... Good luck with that.
