Default Arizona Chit Chat ~ 2017

How are we doing AZ? Getting stupid hot out there already but I think I've been in the pool every day this week! Anyone have any exciting news? Summer plans? Special visits coming up?

June means fathers day for us and my hubby's birthday so we'll be doing little things all month long!

I'm so sorry! Somehow I missed this! I send a ton of cards and a SecurePak if the timing is right.

Not that I've ever heard about. Heat stroke usually doesn't occur just sitting around unless there's a predisposing medical condition. It's usually a combination of dehydration and physical exertion. Your man will have plenty of water and won't be doing much exercise outside.

It's freaking hot... I went outside earlier and thought I was going to melt. I'm seriously thinking about going back to the pool.

MrB said the SMU1 has swamp cooler. They're not AC, but they do cool the air.

MrB said your bf's family should make sure to get him a fan. That should help, too.

MrB said he could be there anywhere from one month to around 7 months. He was there almost 8 months. The process is rather slow...and it's hard to get approved. Their personal property does go with them when they are moved. Sometimes, it does get lost. You do have to fill out us visit application. Here is the link... https://corrections.az.gov/inmate-vi...on-application
You can fill it out either online or mail it in. If you only want phone calls, there is a box you can check and you don't have to pay the 25.00 background check fee. If you want calls and visits, there is a box for that and you will have to pay the fee.

Yes stuff does get lost sometimes they lost all my guys clothes when they moved him the first time not any of his other stuff just his clothes which stunk bc I didn't have the money to just go and replace it all I had saved up to send him what he needed to get al of what he needed clothes and prop wise for a long time and then they go and lose all his clothes and say they have months to find before doing anything to replace it - never replaced it and it's been months I had to bc he had only the clothes he wore on his person during the move - they didn't care. That stunk but I guess my guy says that's rare - still stunk bc I had to buy stuff twice.

Marcia McDowell (pretty sure that is her name - read the story 2 years ago) died after being left in dog pen exercise yard for 4 hours. She was mentally ill and DOC wanted to make a point. They killed her.
