Although I am not familiar with any treatment center I did find this information about them. I hope it helps a little.

Hi K,
Yes this is a great forum.
Hopefully the people on SR will be helpful.
There are also some very good stickies/posts on the family of user forum.
I think that is where I got that letter of letting go I shared with you months ago by Dr. James Dobson.

I hope this time she is truly ready to go to rehab. I know you have been the Rehab route more than a couple of times.
I hate that WE are having to ride this roller coaster. I am sooooo tired of this emotional ride.
I keep trying to keep the Faith!
Hugs to you!

I looked at several in FL early 2011 - Eckerd's is quite good. I used prodigalchildministeries.org as the lauching point for my search. They list several excellent rehabs with classifications by addiction type, gender, age, etc. A really good place to start! I researched many across the land and interviewed 150 before making our choice. We chose an excellent program in south GA but unfortunately they only accept boys.

Good Luck! I pray you will find a successful combination for your daughter!

Hi! I myself attended treatment in South Florida. My daughter also went to treatment in Delray. West Palm - Delray areas are saturated with treatment centers. It has been referred to as "The Oasis of Recovery" because of the beautiful climate and large amoint of resources available.
My only suggestion is to find out how many people they have there at maximum capacity. I found that my daughter was able to hide in the masses and could be overlooked at times. The facility she was at had about 100 people. On the other hand, I was at a facilty where max capacity was 15 and there was no opportunity to isolate and avoid dealing with my addiction, which was a blessing because it's hard to look at yourself in the mirror in the beginning.
Obviously cost is an issue. My daughter's treatment cost 15,000.00 a month where mine was 45,000.00 a month. You can negotiate with them sometimes by letting them know you are talking to other centers.
Another thought is to talk about Sober Living options once treatment is complete. Sober living homes help addicts to slowly be reintroduced into society. The recommendation is to be at one for 6 months. That helps to lay a more solid foundation for living in the "real" world. Addicts/alcoholic's natural responses to dealing with stress is to use again. Living in an environment where you are required to random drug tests, group therapies, mandatory 12 step meetings, chores and responsibilities really help in achieving long term recovery.
Recovery is a lifelong event. Like myself I MUST attend 12 step support meetings for the rest of my life, if I want to keep my disease in remission.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend attending a local Al-anon meeting. I have found a large amount of support in dealing with my emotions when dealing with my daughter. My daughter has been to two treatment centers, sober living, in ICU, banned from family functions and now is on her third day in jail facing felony charges.
I pray that God give you and your daughter strength and direction.
