Gracie,

I'm so happy for you!!!!

I had the same luck as you did, they lost my first one - so I've now sent in three more this week - one of them has to stick!

Hello Wendy! Soon sooon Soon! Are you in the tick tick tick mode? ouchies! Do I know that feeling. Hang in there. I'll be praying for you and Super Judeca to get the approvals faster than lightning now.

We got an appointment for this Sunday! Sooo anxious and California is on Storm Watch of all things! giggle. So far we've had some miracles happen in all this mess. The Rain isn't going to be getting in our way, or the mud, or the slides, nothing I tell ya nothing. Sure is chilly out though. ouch!

Love and Blessings!

Default What to Wear is Confusing

I'm thinking I want to wear my Super Judeca t-shirt to visit. Surely they'll let me in!
Others will run up to me asking where they can get one too.

Somebody please Dress 3 people? Tell us what we need to wear?
We need some experienced Lancaster Reception help with this one

1 female adult
2 male adults
===========
They told me on the phone:
No see-thru-shirts - ehem. No problem.
No Blue Denim
No Brown Pants
No Uniforms including nurse uniforms
1 key
Id - no wallet or money
And No Bible...Wahhh!
==========

Call me paranoid but are they that liberal with the dress code?

I Am So Frustrated! I Hate This. My Hubby Is Supposed To Be Released In March Now But Im Not Sure On The Exact Date Yet. He's Still In Reception So I Dont Know How I Am To Find Out What His Correct Release Date Is. I Sent A Letter Telling Him To Put In That Form. Lets Hope He Does. Whoever Came Up With The No Calling In Reception Was Retarted!!!! This Sucks I Miss Him... I Hope They Knock Off More Than A Month Of His Time!!! This Has Been Nothing But Drama. Once He Gets Out I Still Have To Wait 43 Days To Put In The Inner-state Transfer. Who Knows Where We Are Going To Live Since My Family Is Leaving In Feb.

OH! ok! mybad. I hadn't thought of it that way. Now I'm worried! I wonder if we can think of alternatives JUST incase. Like an alternative person for an emergency? A relative, friend. Or even a designated location to wait at? And relay that in a letter to them as soon as we can?

Now you have my wheels thinking on this one.

I hope you can find some answers somehow.
There has to be a place to find them somewhere.
Does Title 15 go into that at all?

Hm.. I was thinking about that. But I'm really the only one who would go get him. His mom can't miss work and doesnt have a reliable car. I'm going to try and talk to the counselor and see if she'll tell me if not see if she can at least tell me when they would be informing him. I get letters really quick from him only takes about 3-4 days so if he hears something I may know quick. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to recieve letters? Lets hope I can get approved to see him soon.

Seems it was taking 2 plus weeks from us to him. But, he mentioned that our letters are getting there much faster lately. 6 days'ish. Praise God! Thank you Prison Mailroom Persons

I haven't had any luck in speaking to a counselor, others have though. I left messages for him to call us back collect. Never got a call. I just found out I was trying to contact the wrong one. How do these things happen? ouch!

Mail from us takes longer for sures. Sending it on December 21st? Ok maybe he's gotten it by now. Like maybe he got it between January 4th and January 7th. If you've been using the PO box addy, try the direct to Prison addy if you haven't already. I've been writing very large and clearly on the envelope in hopes it's faster to scan and read in the process.

hmmmm trying to remember the address...it's a PO BOX...and I printed out my envelopes so that it is VERY CLEAR lol arial size 14 point font. That address is so long so this makes it easier to write. I printed out lots and lots of envelopes...lol so now i just write and send off, im a lazy writer...hehe. And well he must not like to write or something...hehe im going to get on his butt to write me more often..lol

OH good idea Wendy to Print them out! I'll have to figure out how to get an envelope into the printer. Gotta fill that ink thing up, last time I tried....well it lets say the explosion was beautiful.

I totally understand how you're feeling.

The best advice I had gotten from another PTO member when I was in shear panick. Is that she was able to let her inmate know that she knew where he was at by using Jpay to deposit money in the books.

The Jpay got there much faster than mail. They get a notice of deposit, thus letting him know that we knew where he was at and we were in contact.

yeah the first time doing envelopes is tricky but then you get the hang of it, just use one as the tester to get the right direction in line...hehe

Do you write or type your letters? I know writing is more personal but it's so much easier to type sometimes. I have been doing one written and one typed...haha...what about you?

Ok my weekend project will be how to get an envelope printed. giggle.
One written one typed! haahah good idea! Takes the edge off huh.

I'm with you on the typed letters! I used to handwrite them. I get carried away. 26 page letters at times. ack! And takes me days hours to write them. I'm not a letter writer person. Just thrown into this new world by force. I finally figured out typing them is sooo much easier and faster.
