No, they can stay in reception any where from 30 days to months. It sucks.. Some stay there whole stay in prison.

My man has been in reception since May 9th and he's still there. I was expecting him to mainline any day then something happened and now he's in ASU in the hole. There is no limit for reception, however ther have been recent changes CDC site has the new laws regarding sentencing and credit for time served while in reception. Hang in there.

Can we send typed letters to the inmates in reception? && if so is there font regulations, && size guidelines! =].

My husband normally asked for 50 when he was n reception but some times id put an extra 10-20 bucks lol .n as far as typed letters.. I would always change the font n color n every letter size 14 n he got them all with no problem.. :-)

Yes he can have typed letters, any font, any size you want.
It depends on there last digits of there CDC on when they
get canteen, so you'd have to ask him what draw he is.

My friend said if you send 10 dollas or less to the boys they don't take money out for restitution. Is this true?

No that is not true, someone tried that with there hubby and they still took the 55% out, but that was through jpay, I wonder though that if it was through a Money order if they would give the whole thing? I don't know, I just know through Jpay they still take out the 55%
