Default Made a mistake when he was in Caddo!

Y son has always been a very good kid! Never in trouble, never drank, did drugs, smoked anything :-) ! He's always gone to church growing up, and has taken his children. He had only been in jail a few weeks when I got the bright idea, that since he wasn't being able to get outside sunshine (he was so beautifully brown when he went in) I wanted him to have vitamins...especially D. Soooo..I wrote the warden, who called me, and also the nurse, who explained how I could pay for vitamins, etc.

Long story short, it embarrassed him, brought unwanted attention To him, plus he refused, because he didn't trust them to give him pills, by bare hand! I'm 65, he's 44. He was mortified, and I understood, and was also mortified! Well, it was a good lessoned learned! This court and prison business is a whole different bag!!

I also got in hot water because I had a second FB pg to ask for help raising money for stupid lawyer! I would
Ike for him to explain what we actually got that was worth $55,000!

Ah, well, he's now at Claiborne Detention, and I will never call, email another warden, unless it's an emergency!

Spiffy, from AL

You thought that you were helping your son. Lesson learned. I know that you love him. Stay strong and positive!

You know ladies, my son was telling me about wanting to be a trusty, at Claiborne Parish and the benefits trustys have. He said they are given more food! I was appalled! He had lost weight, and told me that in the past, he had always been "regular", but once he got in CCC he wasn't getting enough food to make more than "one or two turds a week"! I said WHAT!? He said turd Mom, you know, t-u-r-d!

We both started laughing so hard! I said..."that's what I thought you said"LOL! Well, I was just appalled that in a civilized society, that they would use FOOD, like some Pavlovian dog experiment with human beings!

Well, if you remember my previous experience with my son, the warden, and the vitamins...you'll understand why, early the next morning, my phone rings, and it's my 44yr old son, saying he hadn't slept very well last night because he was worried I would call/write the warden about my kid, not getting enough to eat!!!

Bless his heart! I assured him that I had learned my lesson! I would NOT be an interfering Mother again.

He was relieved......

Awwwwh!!! You gotta LOVE that mother's love. God bless you! Til this day, when I have any ailment, my mom comes over with vitamins - no pain meds - and will scold me the whole time about how I should have been taking them.
