Unhappy How can I find out where he is?

hi.
My friend was transfed to Delano from Corcoran in July07, but i havent heard from him since then. before he "moved" he sent me a letter tellin me the new adess. Ive sent 3 letters and got none back. Im in sweden and i kno it takes time for the letters to reach but it usually jus takes 2 weeks. Ive been tryin to get in contact to the prison to ask them. but as it looks like Us have a wierd prison system. i didnt get a replay. Im really worried abt him. I think he suppose to be in KVSP D4. The only info i have on this new place is what he wrote me and im guessin its his inmate nr. Can anyone pls help me to get contact wit him. or give suggestions how i can find out if he still is there. From the tv all we see is murders and alot off bull**** happen so im really worried abt him.

You can call the Records department at the prison between the hours of 8:30 and 4pm (Pacific standard time) and give them his CDC# (prison number) and they will tell you if he is still in KVSP. Call 661-721-6300 ext 5571

I'm sorry it's been over a year since you heard from him.

Try looking through Jpay.com and see if it's been updated

Do you know his full name and birthday? That alone would help. If you didn't find him through j-pay, he may be in a private faucility. When you looked him up in J-pay, did you enter what you think his cdc # is or by his last name? If you don't have the correct cdc# it won't come up. It is almost easier if you just do it by just the last name and then scroll down until you see his name and that he is in Cali. There may be others with the same name, but in other states.
