Default Polk Correctional: Is he able to get letters/send letters and call people?

Ok so my boyfriend possibly about be ex is at Polk Correctional and I was wondering is he able to get letters/send letters and call people? And I found out that he had a control review date Sunday and now he supposed to be getting transferred to a medium custody prison I assume and today he got an infraction. Now my other question is will the infraction cause him to go back to close custody and will they add on days or months to his projected release date? The infraction was for fighting.

Have you checked in online profile on the NC DOC site?
http://webapps6.doc.state.nc.us/opi/...do?method=view
You can see his status and possible infractions

That I cannot tell you or Vinelink cannot tell you that. Give it some time, if he's being moved then it takes a long time.

Post Getting letters while in segregation/"hole"

I just found out today that my boyfriend is in the hole and I've sent him two letters and haven't gotten anything from him yet. Are they holding the letters until he come out? Can he even send letters while he's in the hole? I believe I put P.O Box 2500 instead of Box 2500 does that make a difference? And I don't think I put his Offender Number beside his name so does that make a difference also? I'm new to this prison thing so any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

Mine has been in the hole before and he was able to receive mail/packages. Just make sure you have his inmate number on the envelope. The address should be correct as well

He still be able to get mail whilst in the hole although it may take longer as they may scrutinise his mail more or photo copy it before he recieves it.Its very important that you put his inmate number on the envelope by his name omitting the number can lead to mail getting rejected. Also make sure you put the correct address.

Thanks so much. He said he got them but couldn't send his letter back because a inmate stole his stamps out his locker. *sigh* it's very stressful but we'll be fine he doesn't have long.
