Do you live in San Diego and drive up there? How long is that drive?

This way, you're not the 1st out when it gets crowded. Normally, visitor processing takes place quickly. If visitation notified the yards of a visitor(s) it could go much better timewise to visit w/your loved one, instead of going to the yard 1st, THEN they notify the inmate of a visit. But, - this being a gov't run institution, they don't do it for our convenience. This would allow up to an hour LONGER visit.
Also, they do NOT pay attention to how far you drive to visit. If it suits THEM, they can/will boot you out when THEY want!!! I have argued that point, but they always winn the argument.
Hi what do you mean by this being a gov't run institution. Sorry I don't mean to sound stupid. Aren't they all gov't ran institutions in Cali?

That's a long drive. Hope to make it in January. guess I need to look into hotels in that area.. I hope to visit both sat & sun. I can't imagine someone making that drive on a regular basis.

There is a little bit of activity here and there, not too much though.

I'm here. I'm in San Diego, and planning to visit Mule Creek next month. I've gone before but I flew from SAN to SMF and rented a car. That's too expensive now, so it's back to four wheels on the ground. Would love to chat with some other MCSP folks

I'm so confused... My husband got to MCSP 2 weeks ago.. In his letter he told me he was in building 13 C yard and he was in orientation.. He was a level 1 at folsom and should be moved soon, but when I called records today they told me he is in General population And there is no reason he would not be able to call me and they don't show him in orientation.
I've tried to call his counselor several times and of course no answer and no call backs.. Does anyone know if this building/yard is orientation????

They have some cells on c yard that are overflow from orientation. He is probably in there because C yard is a level 3.

I am wondering the same thing. Would also like to know what programming is like. What classes/jobs/training are available? Is it different for every level? Hope to hear from someone soon!
