West Memphis, AR - Supporters of the men known as the West Memphis Three say an anonymous donor has offered a $100,000 reward for new information that leads to the arrest and conviction in the 1993 deaths of three Cub Scouts.

(First post and stirring things up...)

I think the Three are guilty, to be honest.

There's a lot more evidence than what the documentaries present.

The psychiatric records for Damien...don't paint a pretty picture. Torture of animals, violently assaulting other people, etc. His family got so scared that he was going to hurt himself or others that they had him seek psychiatric help. He was a very scary guy.

As for the inconsistencies with Jessie's confessions, two things:

1. He stated later that he deliberately lied about some details to mess with the police. And likely also to minimize his role in all this.

2. All three of them were really drunk. It's completely understandable if he trips up every now and then.

Also, Jessie deliberately scored as low as possible on that IQ test. On other tests, he's scored like 88. He was deliberately scoring as low as possible on the advice of his attorney so he was ineligible for the death penalty.

Jessie knew about the bottle. He confessed like 50 times to different people and displayed PTSD symptoms shortly after the boys were killed.

One of the boys also had a necklace with blood on it that was consistent with that of Stevie Branch.

I'd link to a Reddit comment summarizing all the evidence, but it says I need 25 posts first.

Do I think that any of them deserve the death penalty? No. This crime is second-degree murder. It was impulsive. Not premeditated.

I just wanted to chime in.

You think they did it. Trump thinks the Central Park 5 are guilty. justice thinks otherwise. DNA thinks otherwise.

Sigh. You can't stir set concrete.

Said DNA was deemed "background contamination" at the time, because it amounts to a few hairs. It doesn't prove anything.

Regardless, PTO is a support and information sharing site. We're not here to try, or retry, anyone. Please remember that the friends and loved ones of any accused are welcome here and high profile cases are no different.
